Today’s gem is from Shaykh Mohammed Ishtiaq’s class, Prophetic Leadership. In this gem, Shaykh Ishtiaq explains how the Prophet ﷺ didn’t just teach the Quran but walked it and how we as leaders should strive to practice what we preach.

We begin in the Name of Allah ﷻ, the Most Merciful and Compassionate,
We ask that He ﷻ sends Peace and Blessings upon our noble and beloved
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

You're being watched no matter how old or young you are. Others around you are always observing. I must admit, I've made my fair share of mistakes during my time as a principal. And as a leader, we make mistakes, but it's important to learn from them.

How was the Prophet ﷺ’s character? He didn't just teach the Qur'an; he walked the Quran. It was so incredibly profound that he walked his talk. A lot of people, we like talking, but lets put that into action.

His character was so beautiful that the Sahaba (his companions) studied every moment they spent with him, down to counting the number of white hairs he had. They noted the minute details of his life, ﷺ.

May Allah ﷻ grant us tawfiq to learn from our mistakes.
