We begin in the Name of Allah ﷻ, the Most Merciful and Compassionate,
We ask that He ﷻ sends Peace and Blessings upon our noble and beloved
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

We’re living in an age of fitna (trials).

While you’re sitting down, even if you’re on your phone, allow your tongue to be moist with the remembrance of Allah ﷻ. Make istighfar (seek forgiveness) as much as you can. Seek Allah’s ﷻ forgiveness. Repent. That’s what we need. We need tawbah (repentance). We need a global tawbah.

The pathway of our scholars and teachers, and the approach of the pious predecessor as seen in the Qur’an, is to attribute any evil to oneself. You see this reflected in the language of Sayyidina Al-Khidr in Surah Al-Kahf. When he poked a hole in the ship, he said, “I wanted to cause a deficiency in the ship.” Although it was by the command of Allah ﷻ, from the perspective of adab, the servant of Allah ﷻ attributes the fault to themselves, saying, “I am the problem.”

May Allah ﷻ grant us tawfiq to make istighfar.

أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم، فاستغفروه إنه هو الغفور الرحيم
