We begin in the Name of Allah , the Most Merciful and Compassionate,
We ask that He sends Peace and Blessings upon our noble and beloved
Prophet Muhammad

Imam Shafi’i would say whoever is provoked to get angry, and they don’t show anger, then they are a donkey.

SubhanAllah he said this to show us that anger is something that every human goes through and feels at some point in time. If you’re able to control it, that’s good.

The Prophet ﷺ said the person who is strong is not one who’s so physically strong that they can just knock someone out and they fall to the ground. No, the Prophet ﷺ says the one who is strong is the one who can control their anger at times when it intensifies.

So my brothers and sisters remember, its time to control ourselves. We all have certain buttons that when someone comes and pushes these buttons it gets us really angry and worked up.

Anger can be a virtue when displayed in the right place, at the right time, and in the right way.

Anger becomes wrong when it comes out in evil ways - people start to use foul language and raise their voice. The Prophet ﷺ said whoever believes in Allah and the last day, say that which is good or remain silent.

So the Prophet ﷺ taught us the importance of doing good and being good even in times when we may be angry.

May Allah ﷻ grant us tawfiq to control our anger.

أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم، فاستغفروه إنه هو الغفور الرحيم
