We begin in the Name of Allah ﷻ, the Most Merciful and Compassionate,
We ask that He ﷻ sends Peace and Blessings upon our noble and beloved
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

The Prophet ﷺ in encouraging his companions to make dua, he tells them that your dua will be answered in one of three ways:

  1. You get what you want right away.

  2. You get what you're asking for, but it is delayed in your perception of a timeline (you get it later).

  3. What you're asking for is in fact not good for you, so Allah ﷻ averts an equal amount of evil from your life.

The companions when they heard this they basically said (and this is my creative direction and interpretation of what they said) that if we're in this no lose scenario, we're going to make even more dua. The Prophet ﷺ concluded by saying that Allah ﷻ has even more to give you.

May Allah ﷻ grant us tawfiq to make dua.

أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم، فاستغفروه إنه هو الغفور الرحيم
