Hope you enjoy!

We begin in the Name of Allah , the Most Merciful and Compassionate,
We ask that He sends Peace and Blessings upon our noble and beloved
Prophet Muhammad

How do I focus on the faults of myself rather than the faults of others?

What a beautiful question.

Any fault you see in somebody - whether its the the way they look, the way they speak - ask yourself, do I have that fault?

She’s mean.

Am I mean?

She’s harsh.

Am I harsh?

She lies all the time.

Am I lying all the time?

She’s short.

Am I short?

She’s ugly.

Am I ugly?

Do you see the point?

You know the selfie that everyone is obsessed with nowadays? Put the selfie not on your face, put the selfie on your heart.

Imagine what the selfie will show.

Always tell yourself that everyone is better than you. When I go for Umrah or Hajj and we do this tawaf with millions of people, I look in Tawaf and I say Ya Allah, all of them are better than me.

Always doubt your status with Allah ﷻ. Don’t focus on people, people will not get me to Jannah, my heart will get me to Jannah.

May Allah ﷻ grant us tawfiq to focus on our own faults.

أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم، فاستغفروه إنه هو الغفور الرحيم
