Assalamu Alaykum,

Today’s gem is from Mufti Abdul Wahab Waheed’s course, Paradise Unveiled: Tafsir of Surat al-Insan. In this gem Mufti Abdul Wahab what Allah ﷻ will say to the people of Jannah.

We begin in the Name of Allah ﷻ, the Most Merciful and Compassionate,
We ask that He ﷻ sends Peace and Blessings upon our noble and beloved
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Then imagine, Allah ﷻ says, step aside because these servants of mine honored Me.

Now Allah ﷻ will serve us drinks—a purifying drink that only He has access to. Imagine the King Himself serving. He's coming to me and saying: here’s your drink, That’s going to happen to us. And He will say, as He’s serving and we’re looking at Him, enjoying that sight, "This is your reward. This is your reward for what you’ve done.”

This word Hadha - that what you're experiencing right now - being able to be with Me, see Me, and know I am pleased with you—because all you wanted was My pleasure. Know that I am pleased with you and I will never be upset at you again. I will never be angry at you."

Imagine hearing that from Allah ﷻ: "This is your reward. And all My servants, your effort was greatly appreciated by Me." Allah ﷻ is Shakir Himself. We appreciate Allah ﷻ, but Allah ﷻ appreciates us even more. Allah ﷻ is grateful to us for what we’ve done for His deen and for how much we protect ourselves. It’s not easy to be someone who does their best. We all make mistakes, but we strive to live a life in obedience to Allah ﷻ, and Allah ﷻ is appreciating it. Allah ﷻ will say thank you.

We see these CEOs, and they appreciate their employees— they have Employee Appreciation Week and Employee of the Month. Allah ﷻ will come to us and say thank you, I appreciate what you did. You worked hard. You struggled. You had countless nights that you didn’t sleep. You had countless days where you struggled. You had countless moments of earning more money, but you chose to put it away because it was haram. You did this for Me. I appreciate it. I appreciate your sacrifice.

May Allah ﷻ grant us admission into Jannah.
