Today’s gem is from Shaykh Abdullah Waheed’s course, The Inevitable: Tafsir of Surah Al-Waqiah. In this gem Shaykh Abdullah explains how we prepare for the slightest possibility of things happening in this world but don’t prepare for the certain reality of the Day of Judgement.

We begin in the Name of Allah ﷻ, the Most Merciful and Compassionate,
We ask that He ﷻ sends Peace and Blessings upon our noble and beloved
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

There is no denial of the Day of Judgement. It's all reality, and it's important that we all prepare for this. We don't have time.

There are some things that are not certain - like maybe it's going to rain, it's research-based, it can be argued, and it's not concrete or certain.

When we know there might be a slight chance of rain, we pack an umbrella to, we’re prepared. If there’s a chance its going to snow, we're prepared. We reorganize and adjust our lives just on the possibility of these things.

Resurrection is not an "if," there’s no debate here. The means of this information is not doubtful; it's Quran. It's accurate. It's 100% revelation. You're not getting mixed messages or false information.

Allah ﷻ says:

There is no denial of such an event. It's accurate.

May Allah ﷻ grant us tawfiq to prepare for the inevitable.

أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم، فاستغفروه إنه هو الغفور الرحيم
