We begin in the Name of Allah , the Most Merciful and Compassionate,
We ask that He sends Peace and Blessings upon our noble and beloved
Prophet Muhammad

Parents are given the following responsibilities: the responsibility for their spouses, children, wealth within the household, honor within the family, and for the home in which the family resides.

These five areas form the essence of what we call "our flock." This responsibility also extends to understanding the Maqasid, or objectives, of Sharia, which have been established to protect certain aspects of life. The scholars of Islam have outlined five main objectives that Sharia aims to protect: religion, health, wealth, intellect, and honor.

The protection of religion comes through safeguarding our faith and spiritual practices, ensuring we maintain our connection with Allahﷻ.

Our health is to be safeguarded as it is a vital part of our well-being, and we are to protect our bodies from harm.

The Sharia emphasizes the protection of wealth, as shown in the case where a Sahabiyah complained to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about her husband's brothers taking all of the deceased husband's wealth. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ provided divine guidance on how to divide the wealth correctly, ensuring that the wife and daughter were not left without their rightful share.

The Sharia also emphasizes the preservation of intellect, ensuring that individuals' minds are protected from harm.

Each aspect of life has been provided for by the Sharia, guiding us to safeguard what is essential and to carry out our responsibilities as parents, spouses, and caretakers with wisdom and care.

May Allah ﷻ  help us fulfill our responsibilities towards our families, protect our health, wealth, minds, and honor, and guide us in upholding the objectives of Sharia in our lives.
